My objective is to help change how humans interact with their machines and help define the role machines play in the lives of their users to create positive impact and experiences. Through my education, research interests, and other opportunities I hope to make this dream a reality.
I'm a Computer Engineering Ph.D. student, 3D Machine Vision Researcher, iOS Developer, User Experience (UX) and Interaction Designer (IxD), Software Engineer, and Human Computer Interaction (HCI) Practitioner among other things.
My current research interests lie within the field of 3D Machine Vision where I'm developing intuitive and innovative ways for users to create, consume, and interact with live high-quality 3D video in real-time. View my list of publications if you're interested in any of the released details or feel free to reach out with questions.
I have a wide array of industry software engineering experience, as well, from starting my own iOS consulting company to working for IBM on an IBM Watson Solution for MD Anderson Cancer Center.
I also have a broad educational background earning my B.S. in Computer Science summa cum laude and my M.S. in Human Computer Interaction magna cum laude, both from Iowa State University.
